Floor and Wall Tiling Installations

This service covers any tiling job from tiling a small kitchen splash-back to tiling large halls and living rooms.

My main experience comes in bathroom tiling as when installing a full bathroom I will be using my plumbing and tiling skills to complete renovation to my highest potential.

This could include taking off and getting rid of the old tiles, however when taking off old tiles there is also some probability that the backing plaster board will come with it. So patching up the holes in the old plaster or re-skimming the previous plaster can all be carried out before tiling commences.

Tiling in my opinion can truly bring areas of your house/flat to life by adding your own personal touch through the choice of hundreds of tiles and border tile designs.

Tile Repairs and Replacements

Sometimes over time, especially over areas with heavy traffic, tiles can split and crack.

This leaves a very obvious unsightly situation to an otherwise very smooth and clean look. Using a multi cutter fitted with a grout blade, I can cut away the grout surrounding the tile needing repaired and lever the tile out to be replaced.

The old adhesive that’s usually left stuck to the substrate behind the tile would need to be sanded back which takes a fair bit hard work. The new tile is then stuck into position and grouted over – leaving a perfect finish.

Some hairline scratches and scuffs can be sorted with various touch up paints and polishes.

Although at times the colours can be hard to match perfectly it is definitely better to replace the tile if a match can be found.
